My involvement with Trinity United church began back in 1957 when I helped a friend to stoke the coal furnace we had at that time. After my brother Rieks, a very active worker at our church passed away in 2013, I started to help in many of the fundraising and joined the church after I was baptized and joined the church in January 2015. I became a Board member in 2015 in Charge of Property and a Trustee in 2018 and have found it very rewarding. I also help out at Messy church and attend the Men’s Breakfasts. I was also involved in the Restoration project of the Murray Church. It gives me great pleasure to be able to help when and where I can.
